04 Place-Based Identity
Branding

Spring 2024
Raingle is a place-based brand identity created from an unidentified space. The goal of the project was to imagine how branding could give voice, atmosphere, and meaning to a space that typically lacks identity.

This project challenged me to build a brand from the ground up, requiring a deep understanding of narrative, space, and visual communication. I began by researching the space and talking about it with my classmates. From there, I developed a brand system that could bring clarity and cohesion to an otherwise undefined environment. The identity includes a custom logotype, color palette, and a series of environmental and digital applications. Each element was designed to evoke a sense of place, direction, and curiosity—inviting users to pause and reflect within a moment of transition.
